We are as excited as if this was the first session of the summer; this time around we will be sharing 2 weeks with 13 kids and 13 dogs. Our dogs, once again, are from SPCA in Titusville and Pet Rescue by Judy.
Monday is the orientation day for the kids in which we cover a whole array of concepts. One of them is introduction to our philosophy which means a tour of the facility and greeting the dogs in our enrichment program.
We started off with the discussion of the basic dog needs and continued with the field trips to Petland, Orange County Animal Control and SPCA.
Upon our return back to Doglando we put the kids in charge of designing the future of dog enrichment equipment.
After some thinking it was time to meet and select the dogs.
