EcO DOG Tuesdays

Have you ever accidentally clipped your dog's nails too short and made them bleed profusely? I feel much more comfortable using a dremmel on dogs, but for those who don't...

If you don't have a bottle of quick stop handy, here are a couple alternatives to stop the bleeding:

1. Cornstarch
2. Turmeric

Believe it or not, both clot blood and stop the nail from bleeding.

If you are nervous about cutting your dogs nails, you can always bring them to Doglando. If you would like to learn how to cut your dogs nails safely, you may contact us to schedule a tutorial lesson on nail clipping for dogs.
