Doglando's Groom Grub and Belly Rub will be offering the City's first obedience training for dogs, where Kids are the actual handlers.... that's right... no parents, just the kids and their four legged companions.
The 6 week Kids and K9's program starts on Tuesday May 4, 2010 from 5:30pm - 6:30pm.
The class is open to kids 10 and up, with dogs of all ages and the curriculum will be based on our AA in dogology class.
All topics of discussion will be tweaked for their understanding, and as a part of this special course, kids will also learn to build agility equipment to use while training for fun at home. This will help to further enhance their communication, relationship, trust and friendship with their dogs, while giving them a sense of responsibility and dedication to their family companion.
Cost: $160/child and dog team
Duration: 6 weeks
Enrollment: up to child-dog 6 teams only
