Doggy Haikus

Have you ever tried to write a Haiku? I remember that as one of our school assignments a long time ago (while living in Kenya).

Anyway, it's actually not that easy. A Haiku is a short poem/non-rhymed verse, made of 5 sylaables in the first sentence, 7 in the second and 5 in the third sentence.

Try it, see what you come up with.

Check out these clever doggy inspired Haiku's:

1.

I am your best friend,
Now, always, and especially
When you are eating.

2.

How do I love thee?
The ways are numberless as
My hairs on the rug.

Send us what you come up with. Here is my attempt (I am no writer, and most definately no poet).

Every day I wake
by the touch of your wet nose
and puppy breath yawn
