Eco Dog Tuesdays

Rosemary Tonic:

Use: Use after a bath to repel fleas and make your dog's coat soft and shiny, with a long lasting refreshing smell as well.

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon dried or fresh rosemary
1 pint of boiling water

Method:

Steep rosemary in boiling water for 10 minutes. Strain to remove rosemary and let liquid cool to room temperature.

Poor rosemary tonic all over dog after final rinse. Pat dog and let air dry.

Other uses:

- Spray solution on live plants to repel insects.
- Take sticks of fresh rosemary and place in the return for your AC for a clean and fresh scent in the house.
- Place fresh rosemary sticks under your bed sheets.... especially if your pets sleep with you. This will help keep bugs off bed, and keep your linen smelling clean.

I found this to be extremely helpful, since I have found 2 deer ticks on my dogs. Thanks Doglando!!!
